Executive Director, Margo Myers
After spending more than 20 years in front of the TV camera, primarily as an anchor at KIRO-TV and KOMO-TV in Seattle, Margo knows what it takes to present your ‘best self.’ As a former award-winning news anchor, and now media consultant, she’s worked with experts to find the right ‘look,’ as well as to speak effectively in public, and she enjoys passing that knowledge on to others.
Graduating with honors from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, she has a passion for helping people achieve both their personal and career goals, and is now helping clients of The Springboard Academy make the most of their opportunities. You’ll find Margo emceeing events in the Seattle area for non-profit groups, serving on the WSU Board of Trustees, the Murrow College of Communications Advisory Board, and the Seafair Board.
Chairman and CFO, Tom Eckmann
Tom has more than 35 years experience as an entrepreneur, consultant and business executive. He has successfully started and sold several companies and been the senior operations executive in two public companies. Tom is a published author and Lecturer at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business, where he teaches innovation and entrepreneurship.
Tom has a strong spirit of mentorship and has provided career counsel to many men and women and advised new entrepreneurs in the launch of their businesses. Tom earned Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at the University of California in Berkeley. [more]
Chief Marketing Officer, Elizabeth Harris
Elizabeth has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, executive management and consulting. In addition to successfully serving in several senior management roles, Elizabeth is a business owner and management consultant. Throughout her career, Elizabeth’s work has focused on business and relationship development. She is driven by a passion for improving people’s lives at work, in turn making businesses more successful. Elizabeth is a strong proponent of community service and is active in several Rotary committees.
Founder, Suzanne Keel-Eckmann
Suzanne is a Firm Director for Deloitte, the international accounting and consulting firm, where she leads the Firm’s Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability initiatives. Prior to her current position, she was the Northwest regional operations leader and led the Deloitte Services Women’s Initiative. Prior to joining Deloitte, she honed her technical and leadership skills as the legal administrator for two multi-location law firms and as the founder of a technology-based outsourcing firm.
Suzanne attended the University of Alabama and Golden Gate University and continued her education by earning a Green Belt in Process Excellence and certification as a LEED Accredited Professional. In addition to mentoring high talent women in and outside Deloitte, Suzanne actively supports local and regional cultural organizations.
Founder, Jenni Hogan
Jenni is the morning traffic anchor at KIRO-TV in Seattle and a leader on the social media front. She is a University of Washington graduate and former captain of their national champion women’s varsity crew team. Her competitive spirit is evident in her passion for helping young women who are still in school or launching a new career. You may have seen her around Seattle addressing local women’s groups or emceeing charitable events. She is on the Board of Directors for both the Miss Seattle Organization and the UW Communication Alumni group where she heads their mentorship program.
