Emerald City Swank raises $97,000 to support Seattle Works
Emerald City Swank raises $97,000 to support Seattle Works. Tara Smith, GoGirl Alumna and newly-appointed Executive Director of Seattle Works, played hostess at the annual Emerald City Swank gala held at the Seattle Waterfront Marriott. In honor of Tara’s accomplishments, GGA contributed a full scholarship for the event’s silent auction. Also, GGA faculty member Tommy Gene Harlow teamed with several alumnae to create a “SimpleTini Party” (billed as the “ultimate ladies event”) for the live auction. In total, the event raised $97,000 to support the non-profit’s HandsOn Leadership programs.
