GGA Founder Jenni Hogan reaches 20,000 Twitter followers

GGA founder and KIRO 7 Eyewitness News Traffic Reporter Jenni Hogan celebrates her 20,000th Twitter follower.

SEATTLE — KIRO 7 Eyewitness News Traffic Reporter Jenni Hogan is celebrating a big #WIN thanks to her BTFs (Best Twitter Friends) who helped her reach 20,000 Twitter followers over the weekend.

Jenni's been a highly active Twitter user since she started her account in February 2009 and loves to give back and interact with her followers, whether it's helping them find their lost dog, getting to work on time or raising money for her and her followers' favorite causes. She also knows how valuable her army of Twitter consultants can be; every Friday she reaches out to her consultweets (as she calls them) to help her decide if she should keep or toss the outfit she wore on air. (Thanks to you all for making our traffic reporter look prim and proper.)

Jenni didn't want to just celebrate 20,000 followers with a victory lap, though, so she's put together a package of prizes, both for her 20,000th follower and for the 19,999 of you that helped her get there.

First of all, congratulations to the 20,000th follower: Michelle Short, a.k.a. @aweechel! Here's a little info about her from her blog:

"I am a mother to four amazing children; Zander, Isaac, Ethan and Evelynne. I try to devote my life to the needs of my family and our needs our greater than most. My son Ethan has special needs that are forever changing our daily life, in order to keep things as "normal" as possible for everyone it takes a lot of work! If you'd like to know more about Ethan follow me:) I wouldn't change anything in my life because it honestly has made me the person I am today:) I am married to the most loving and supportive man, he truly is the best!"
