Participants in Springboard Academy events are able to put lessons learned to work immediately and many see tangible results before they’ve even finished class. Some have received promotions with increased pay and responsibilities and others have landed new jobs (one recent graduate even got her dream job!). Here’s what some of them have to say:
We engaged Margo and her team as partners in our annual department retreat. She worked with our team of associates to develop their personal pitch and branding statements among other sales development topics. As topics were presented and discussed, Margo provided a good mix of group involvement and personal accountability commitments… we continue to implement strategies she presented during the session.

“Being a member of the Academy has not only made me a more confident leader in the workplace, but it has made me more confident overall. Margo Myers, Jenni Hogan, and Suzanne Keel-Eckmann are excellent teachers in class, as well as encouraging coaches outside of the classroom. They also brought in local leaders in various areas such as networking, wardrobe, and public speaking to give us insider tips and tricks of the trade. Additionally, it is because of the skills and confidence that I gained as a member of the Academy that led to attaining my first career job! I highly recommend this program to anyone who wants a competitive edge in the workplace!”
Stephanie S., non-profit administrator
“The Springboard Academy has propelled me to create some needed changes in my professional career. It’s about being the BEST YOU – from knowing how to walk into a room, write an email, the power and importance of Social Networking, or give a presentation, just to name a few. In today’s competitive professional market, it’s quintessential to stand out with your own Personal Brand.”
Cheryl S., non-profit executive director
“The list of what I have gained from being a participant is extensive: instruction in public speaking, business etiquette, how to discover and be true to my brand, dressing for success, leadership and mentoring skills. I whole-heartedly recommend the program to anyone wanting to launch, accelerate, or transition her career.”
Sima K., physician and patient-advocate
“You rejuvenated my self-awareness and reinforced my obligations to mentor younger women. Your rewarding program allowed my personal development through thoughtful introspection… I’m facing the fall with a fresh perspective.”

"We were recently privileged to have Margo Myers as our Keynote Speaker for our annual “Celebrating Women in Business” Conference. Margo not only ‘hit the mark’ with what business women needed to hear, but left us encouraged and inspired to move forward with new enthusiasm and confidence to take our business to the next level. I could see the “aha moments” reflected in individuals as Margo shared. I highly recommend Margo Myers."
Deb Sogge, Exec. Director, Sammamish Chamber of Commerce
"Margo is an upbeat, engaging speaker who delivered a high-value presentation to my group of women entrepreneurs. Drawing upon her experience as both a TV news anchor and her work as Executive Director of The Springboard Academy, she shared personal stories woven with hard-won wisdom to both teach and inspire attendees. Margo's support of others as they grow their businesses shines through her words, actions and presence - she's a true gem!"
Lynn Baldwin-Rhoades, Founder, Powers Chicks International
"Thanks so much, Suzanne, for speaking at the national annual meeting of NET Impact in Portland. Your comments and insights got rave reviews. Your session was ‘standing room only.’"
Liz Maw, Executive Director, NET Impact
Operation Career Boost
In partnership with Nordstrom and Operation Military Family, this program helps service members transitioning to the civilian workplace.
"I cannot say enough about the program and how appreciative I am that you gave most of a day to help us in becoming an asset that employers will want on their team. I feel that this training gave insight into the world of consumer based business, not just Nordstrom. Thank you all again!"
"I truly found yesterday's seminar more helpful than 90% of the transition briefs and classes I have attended… Thank you very much for yesterday's information as well as for volunteering of your own personal/professional experiences."
"I found your presentation not only informative but pertinent and stimulating. The personal brand information, especially aligning and leveraging a personal brand, will definitely be useful for our clients."
Christina S., Transition Assistance Career Counselor, ACAP

"Margo and Suzanne were just amazing! My biggest “aha” was that I have a brand and need to communicate and manage my image . . . or someone else will!"
Stephanie, BS Political Science
"Now I understand the ‘whys’ and ‘hows’ of networking, and I’ll be much more focused, and much more confident, in building my network. Thank you Margo and Suzanne!"
Letticia, MS, Nursing
"I have participated in one of the Springboard Academy's "PowerTalks" and found it to be a very non-threantening atmosphere to learn new information. They also offer a wide range of topics that could be interesting to veterans and transitioning service members. I recommend taking two hours and see what they have to say."
